Why am I banned from a thread and post removed?

I posted in the BBC to out senior political figure thread in the News/Politics section and now my post has been remove and I'm banned from further contribution.

Can anyone tell me why?

I advise you read the PH posting rules and not make accusations in public without facts to back them up.

PH and you are both liable for anything you publish on PH. And if you believe for one second that nothing would come of this legally, then think again. Not the 1st time and won't be the last time.

If you don't like it, then by all means go and setup your own website and make all the accusations and post all the pictures you want. If you have publicly available facts to back them up then fill yer boots. If you don't then don't post them as they will be removed.
