Placed an add this morning in order to sell my car,at the time it stated it would be free as a long time member,now its been approved ive been sent a mail asing me to pay a fee through world pay .... is this right ?

Yes I logged in under my forum name ignored the paying request and the advert went live ...... slight bug there I think.

this new site is a nightmare they lost all my details taken ages to get sorted now they want to charge me for ads thought it was free to long term members

Hi Mike,

I've just checked your account and you now have the right to advertise cars for free (you were one of a small batch of account holders where that right hadn't been granted for some reason).

The trailer you're uploading won't cost you anything to sell - you just need to add some images.
