Hi,

I received a 7 day ban from GG due to posting a NSFW link in the "Using the Mrs to sell the car" thread. It was a link to a Russian SEAT car advert which featured an actress in underwear (bra/pants) convincing a prospective owner to purchase. I indicated in my post that the link was NSFW.

Just wanted to say "Sorry" as I didn't know that would get me in trouble.

It was a reproduction of a link which had already been posted on the Youtube thread for several hours and (at the time of posting) had not been removed or commented on so there was no indication that I couldn't copy that link to the "Using the Mrs to sell the car" thread. That original link is still in the YT thread as of right now. I feel a little caught out because I didn't know that different standards applied to different sub forums (GG vs. Lounge).

But anyway, just wanted to say sorry as I've not had a ban before and I don't intend making a habit of it.

A ban does seem harsh if the link remains in the other thread.

I'm not sure that the Mod who banned you would have been aware of the other link as they cannot read everything in every thread - perhaps they will reconsider the ban now that they have been made aware of the circumstances. It would seem to be the decent thing to do IMO

I watched that link - Thank you VERY much

IMO a ban is harsh. No nudity, and a link labelled NSFW. There have been plenty of other photos posted with girls just as scantily clad.

No dual standards regarding removal, the clip on the Youtube thread has not been spotted or reported had it been it would have been removed.
