PH Classifieds - a new record?

So I had just finished uploading photos to my for sale ad (which is confusing as you don't get a box, or any indication that your photos are uploading) of the Clio Williams I had just finished restoring that day. I get the usual 'your advert is live' confirmation and away I go. 4 hours later I receive a phone call from a lovely woman from darn sarf who agrees to send me a deposit based on my photos/description in the ad.

It took me longer to wash, polish and wax it than it did to sell it!

4 hours. This must be a record!?

About 6 months ago, my mate from college had a Seat leon 1.4. He washed it on his drive, put a for sale sign in the window, took some pictures of it, then went inside to put it on ebay. 20 minutes later he was just about to finish the ad when someone knocked on his door. Had a look round it, left £100 deposit came back 1 hour later wiht the full amount.

My MG sold on PH in less than two hours, and my Caterham was less than four IIRC.

IIRC, a few years ago a TVR S went in 12 or 15 minutes (can't recall which).

My Caterham sold within a couple of hours last week.

In the last couple of years I have sold a Caterham, Porsche, Evo and a Ferrari through PH Classifieds and also bought another Ferrari, a Discovery, 2 Lotuses and a couple of other cars. Fantastic classified section on a great website.
