Agree with most moderation on the site, bar a few clangers, but fail to see the issue here. A thread dedicated to anal sex made legendary, no prob? A thread about white jeans resulting in a few pages of increasingly funny and bizarre photoshops, not ok if they contain breastfeeding? (not a sentence I'd ever thought I'd type).

If the OP has requested the removal then no prob. If not, I am fairly reasonable about most things, but heavy-handed moderation is a bit much in the Lounge. No matter, whatever the reason, a mod has seen fit to take action. Just not one I agree with at all.

Just to clarify the F1 style rules so we all know where we stand:

1. A pic of a man's hairy buttocks in barely there jean shorts, ok?
2. A pic of a head photoshopped on to naked baby, ok?
2. A pic of a head photoshopped on to woman breastfeeding, not ok?

I agree, delete offending posts but a Ban is a bit harsh.

Always like reading how modding has changed...I've been here a while and have never seen or issued a change in modding policy in that time.

I wasn't involved in this issue myself, but we do have issues with boobs on the forums and that would include breastfeeding.

The ban appears to be for three days, not for life. Not too bad really IMO.

The Association of Breastfeeding Women will be indignant and along in a moment to claim discrimination.

What's going on? It's hardly voyeuristic, more of a turn off than a turn on.

May we be let in on the history of the development of the boob issue on PH, please? I can give you the name of a good counsellor, if that helps...hehesmile

For Justices benefit as I posted in the other thread:

We have issues (and always have) with boobs wrt being safe for work. Everyone knows this, whether it's page 3 or breast feeding.

If Justices feels a ban is harsh then he's welcome to email Garlick.

ETA should have read the thread, PG has posted redface

Maybe so, but you needed to look hard to recognise this as such. A casual passer by would have been hard pressed to see it. I think this was a case of an oversensitive trigger finger.

In defence of the mods, any content these days is subject to reading by incredibly stupid machines, who aren't the best in the world at subjectivity or context.

Really? There was a woman with her gaps out centre stage, IMO you'd have to look hard to recognise it as breast feeding, what with the amount of flesh and weirdness going on.

Sorry, have to say it didn't immediately strike me as norks ahoy...I had to view for a few seconds to see that. I'm sure no passing eyes would have noticed but then, what do I know, I'm only a jaded old fart...hehe

Would it have been that much work just to ask Justices to amend / edit his post to satisfy the T's & C's and then delete any quoted copies of the original?

Still think it a little harsh.
