Advertising links in forum posts

Not been on here for a few days and noticed a few posts by users on a news thread (the new BMW 4 series coupe one) seem to have specific words underlined and linked to what looks like an advert. The words were 'cars' and 'attempt' and some others.. Is this something PH have sanctioned?
