Thread removed - clarification requested

Hi mods, I just had a Wilton House thread removed (citing 'advertising') and have a question or two.
The primary purpose of the removed thread was to confirm the date of our event, since just this week we have finalised the necessary arrangements ourselves.
PH have been formally involved with the event since its inception in 2009 (either as sponsors or media partners). Obviously, with PH staff enjoying their holidays a full article isn't likely to be on the cards at the moment and we are waiting until January to release full details ourselves but, nevertheless, the summer calendar fills up quickly and we (both WCS and PH) have arrangements in place such as a sizeable PH inclusion on site. I therefore deemed it good sense to release the date to PH'ers ASAP.
Perhaps someone could enlighten me futher?

The post was rather link and pic heavy (more an ad than a post) and it's probably best that we discuss the most effective way of announcing the event on PH instead.
Do you want to drop me a line with all the things we discussed (ticket pricing etc) and we'll announce in the usual way editorially once that's all sorted?
