Hi chaps/esses,

Since getting a shiny Samsung galaxy s3, whenever I try and upload a photo it gets rotated, sometimes 90 degrees, others 180...

Anything I'm doing wrong, or I could do different, to prevent such shenanigans?

When you take the photo, don't turn the phone on its side, or upside down.

It is to do with the way some places read the data that comes with the photo. The phone adjusts your view according to how you hold it, and adds a bit of data about the orientation, but sometimes these are not read by certain programs, etc.

Gaw on then how do you stop that happening smile
You rotate the ipad or whatever and the stupid machine decides it needs to rotate the photo for you and youre no better off than when you started.

Press and hold the home button, slide all the way to the left and turn the screen lock on smile

But that would ruin my mini rant...
