I think these may have been mentioned before - 'Trade Price Cars' list their stock twice, once with a real price and again with the monthly fee instead. Most annoying when surfing for sheds...

For example:-
Bad

Good

Think I'm going to give up trying to search for sub £500 cars in the classifieds. 90% of the results are either wanted ads, monthly finance deals or random parts (eg Audi 'Aerodynamic Upgrades').

I thoroughly agree; last time I was looking for a shed for a mate of mine, it was pretty much unusable. I won't bother with it again.

It's not a fault of PH directly, but the adverts should be removed and not permitted. In all seriousness, someone searching for a £500 car doesn't want to see adverts for cars costing £xxx per month - it's a waste of everyone's time.

If you see a badly behaved classifieds ad, hit the 'Report to Admin' link on it and the relevant people can take a look. smile

What the classifieds need is separate fields for monthly cost and deposit. That way, the dealers can list monthly prices, and the classifieds become searchable / filterable by finance prices / options. People looking for sheds would no longer see monthly deals as dealers would not be allowed to enter monthly cost as the purchase price.

Everyone wins.

Can we have a bulk option please? It'll be easier than reporting every other search result.

Also, for the time being put an age filter on it, that will filter out most of the finance priced cars wink

Tried reporting a few of these ads last week. They all still seem to be there?

Same dealer is still doing this. I've reported a few ads this week and last, but no change?
