You will see from my posting history that I am not a trouble maker.
However, regarding the LFC thread, I think you have it massively wrong.
There is a single poster completely ruining it for everyone else. You must know this and yet you choose to side with him.
He is clever in the fact he only insults Liverpool players and the Liverpool Manager, not active posters. But isn't that worse? He is effectively trolling the hell out of the thread by upsetting all the other LFC supporters who want to give BR a chance. If he were a ManU supporter he would surely be banned by now?
We win, he hates on BR, we lose he really hates on BR. No one wants to hear it and just because he supports LFC it shouldn't make it ok!
1 poster ruining it for everyone, he is the definition of a troll on the LFC threads and I think PH really needs to rethink its stance on the situation.
If RT was banned from using derogatory names for BR, and told to give his opinions in a constructive manner, then he'd be a genuinely interesting poster. As it is, he is painful to read, I don't see how he gets pleasure from watching LFC at all.

I'm a Liverpool fan and read the thread frequently and occasionally contribute.
However, the continual winding up by RT and apparent inability of others to just ignore it makes the thread an intensely irritating read, having to sort through all the childish posts from both sides.
I almost posted on the thread earlier after Gaz's warning that closing the whole thread was not required, just ban those that are continuing to use it as a forum for their own personal, childish finger pointing and vendettas.
It would make the thread much, much quieter, but quantity does not always equate to quality. I'd rather see the thread with one interesting Liverpool related post a day then 200 stupid insults and pointless arguments.
I need to go and see if the thread has actually been closed down, it's crossed my mind that this thread may as a result of that. And to be honest I wouldn't be surprised, just a bit disappointed. Just a bit mind, the thread was s

Ahhh, so as suspected it has been closed. FFS, why couldn't you just ban the 3 or 4 that ruin for the rest of us. They are just going to move it to another thread, and the rest of us suffer.

I went to bed last night after posting a telegraph article. I didn't even post an opinion on it. Go and look if you want.
I posted this afternoon to express my disappointment that IMO I found the use of the term mong and gimp to describe another poster to be not only offensive but, again IMO, to be discriminatory towards disabled and gay people.
The thread got closed several hours and numerous pages afterwards. All without a single further post from me.
