Can't log in to classifieds...

I've not listed anything on Classifieds for a while.. not since the new layout came in anyway.

Usually I would go to classifieds and would already be logged in from activity on the forum. Then just go from there and list as usual.

Now it asks me to log in, which is fine, I don't mind that, except my forum log in details do not work. Username or password error all the time.

Does classifieds now have seperate user accounts to the forum or is something broken?

For what it's worth, both the old and new system had separate logins.

I can't find an account on either system for the e-mail address associated with your forum account.

Did you happen to use a different e-mail address in the past? If so, that would help. If not, do you have an old ad reference number? I can look up your account that way, as well.

Hmm possible that I changed my email when I changed my username. Always used to just log in with my username though and I tried my old one too..

For the old site, your username would still be your e-mail address. Try logging in with an old e-mail address as the username.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem in as much as I cannot log into classifieds when submitting an advert. I have retained the same email address from when I joined the site. I have tried logging out of the main site and then logging into the classifieds but it still won't work. Short of setting up another account, what can I do?

Try the reset password link, new password and try again.

None of this works for me, can any of the mods have a look? I'm guessing I'm entitled to free adverts due to how long I've been on the forum and would prefer to avoid having to create a new account and paying for the ad.

You do have an account (with your hotmail address) and I've just reset your password for you. You're also entitled to free ads.

Sorry for the delay, but I've just had a look. You do have an account (hotmail address) and I've just reset your password. Whilst you're entitled to a free ad, there are a small batch of accounts where this setting didn't carry over from the old site, so I've corrected it and you should be able to upload now.
