Receiving e mails for a car I didn't advertise!

I know the new classifieds have had a few teething problems but this takes the biscuit...I received an e mail from someone asking about a car advertised on PH but NOT by me!

Bit of a worrying security flaw if someone can link an advert to my profile without my knowledge

Anyway I sent an e mail to "adverts@pistonheads" and waiting to hear back...

Looks like there's another Craig with the same surname on the site. I've updated the ad so you won't get any more e-mails.

I've not used the new classifieds to sell a car yet. In the old one you used to link the ad to your profile in which case I'm not sure why it would matter if there were 2 people with the same names as the profile names should be unique - is that not the case with the new classifieds?

It's less a result of how the new classifieds works and more how the data was migrated over.

And I don't mean your forum name Craig. I mean your full name, first and last.
