Name & Shame - Review Site. - what's the difference?

I am thinking this is a matter of brand protection/best to be safe but why can't we name and shame (due to legal potential) but product review sites freely discuss issues and don't get sued?

PH and its members trust each other and I'm quite sure if there was a product/dealer review section the feedback would be well appreciated.

I'm sure someone will provide an example but has any website been successfully sued due to a forum members comments?

There are quite a number, certainly, that have spent 6 figure sums fighting actions.
