Posting to mobile site with Android phone - no subject

Hi all,

Minor bug report. I just started a new topic in BMW General from my Android phone (running Android 4.2) via the the mobile site:

Although I filled the subject line in, the message has ended up with no subject... Not sure why?

Did you preview it before submitting?

Yes, I did.

It's a bug with the mobile site (not specific to Android) that loses the subject after preview. Submitting without preview works fine.

For some reason that seems to remove the title, from what I've read it does the same with an iPhone.

OK, thanks for the clarification, and to whoever fixed the subject for me. I'll avoid preview on the mobile site now I know.

Would PH like it fixed? I'm a dabhand with Classic ASP :-)

The mobile site is provided by a third party IIRC and can't be changed easily.

As far as I know this is the problem (and one reason why the techies can't help when it breaks)
Still, we should have a brand new shiny mobile site soon!
