Weird text rendering artefacts

I'd noticed a few of these recently that made text look bold (where it wasn't!), highlighting it would make it look 'normal' again.
I saw this yesterday though -



The browser is Safari on Mac OS 10.8.2.

Looks fine for me if that is any help. 10.8.2, Safari (and Firefox).

Yep, that's the thread. As mentioned I've seen other rendering issues elsewhere, but nothing as bad as that.
