What skin do you use?

So there's a new skin in the list and it makes using the desktop site much more phone-friendly. Woo, and indeed, yay.

And I got to wondering if anyone changes their PH skin, or indeed if they know that such a possibility exists.

I posted an identical poll some years ago. Will be interesting to see the difference in results.

There were several posters at the time who didn't know the option existed. Kind of like me not knowing there was a new option added.

I didn't know there was a new option. To be honest, they're all a bit rubbish and I don't like the new skin because, whilst it works well ish on my phone, it's then rubbish on the desktop.

It would be nice to have a more discrete option and also some with variety.

I just use the default option... and that's having tried all the others.

Actually that's a lie, I use the 'Big Blue' one... see, they're all too similar so I didn't know

This. Switch is working through mobilising the various parts of the site, forum first and then news etc. This is very much a work in progress and there are bits missing. However if you do spot a bug then feel free to report it

And er I rather like it too. But don't tell him or he will want a payrise or some such mythical thing.

You can adjust the size of window on your p.c.

Ahh, it was only a matter of time.
The Mobile Beta skin should look like Big Blue (sorry if you don't like that skin) on the desktop and when you view the main forums on a mobile (not mobile.pistonheads.com) it should display a mobile version of
the site (it will also display this version if you make your window very narrow on a PC).

And feedback welcome and appreciated.

Currently it's only on, Forum main page, forum topic list, topic, reply, what's new and my stuff. More to come soon.

Bold - do you mean on an ipad regardless of orientation? or on a Pc as well?
Italics - borders on which cells in particular? separating a topic from the next in the narrow view?

I'm on a PC, so I only see the style if I make it narrow/portrait. It is clearer, so I'd prefer that look even in landscape.

I mean the cell borders that (vertically) interrupt the otherwise useful row backgrounds.

Hm. Well fair enough.

Currently the new skin is trying to faithfully replicate Big Blue when in desktop view(faults/idiosyncrasies and all).
