Posing on PH using an HTC phone. Why so difficult?

When posting from my HTC One phone I find that if I want to delete some text from my post, I click on what I want to delete and it deletes text from the line above.

Also when posting it is not possible to view what is being typed when I get past a certain point
on the page.

I don't have this issue when using other sites or with email.

Posing on a dull old HTC is far more difficult than on a more competent, flashy device like the iPhone.
