Morning chaps,

I'm trying to list some parts for sale in the Mercedes and Renault sections, for some reason when I select Parts and Accessories from the drop down menu it automatically defaults to Breaking and Damaged on the preview page - i cannot change this.

Am I being thick? silly

Cheers thumbup

Strange. I can't reproduce it.

Can you tell me the steps you're going through to make this happen?

Cheers,

Hi Matt,

If i log in to my classifieds account, click on submit new ad, click parts / plates, then choose parts / accessories from the drop down menu, then select Mercedes (Renault is not even available to select) type out my ad and go through the motions of contact details / upload photos etc.. Once i get to preview ad it has then defaulted to 'your advert will appear in Parts and Plates - Breaking and Damaged - Mercedes..

Also the Renault section is not there when you select from the drop down menu in 'Step 1 write your ad'

I trust the above makes sense?

Thanks,

Mike

Strange. I still can't replicate it.

What if you start your ad from here http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/parts-and-p... ?

And use this form to start the SSI process:

Nope Matt, still doesn't work for me.

When i choose the category Parts & Accessories the sub category gives me the same manufacturers as Breaking & Damaged i.e. Other, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari etc.. No Renault!

Bizarre..

Sounds like an issue with the javascript there. Which browser are you using?

Please don't say Internet Explorer!smile
