Rating articles. Provide average rating straight away please

I almost never bother to rate articles because of the irritating speedo needle waste of time to find out what other people think. Life is to short to sit there while it swings around.

Please can you just let me rate an article, then immediately see what others have rated it?

If not, please explain why you insist on wasting time with the needle sweeping around!
