Having finally made the decision to advertise my car I'm having huge problems getting logged in to the Classified section. It says that the details I'm entering are incorrect, I've tried resetting my password etc to no avail. I've tried setting up a new account but it says i'm already registered . Please help as this seems a bit of a catch 22

Have you tried registering with your e-mail address as your username, instead of your forum name?

Are you on Windows 8 by any chance?
I tried it all weekend and you cannot login.
At work, on Windows 7 it logs in just fine

I was just about to reply to your thread. Did you use IE on Windows 7 or another browser?

Well, that's what we're trying to find out. I've booted up a virtual machine with Windows 8 / IE10 on it and it definitely just doesn't work. I don't know yet if the site work on Windows 7 / IE10 or not.

Can't do it myself today. Tried my username and my email but won't let me in.
Asked for a password reset but no email received.

Why do you have to login to the classified section when you are already logged into the forum ?

Think you've got probs. Just did a password reset on my Mac running Chrome and it logged me in. Logged out and went to log back in and it wouldn't let me using the password I'd just set.

FYI, when I ran the password reset it comes up with my surname twice confirming I'm logged in, when I click my name to manage my ads I'm logged back out.

Repeated the procedure a few times and the results are always the same.

Sounds like you need an IT bod to look at that for you.
