Strange characters appearing in articles...

In the Porsche Panamera article, every apostrophe is shown as ’ for me (as an example.

In the GT500 S/C 1000 article, the apostrophes are fine generally apart from 3 examples in the body text.

In both articles, the pound symbol has a in front of it.

I just took a look at some older articles and it's like that elsewhere.

Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.14

It used to be fine, I haven't changed character encoding or anything.

I'm getting the same. I think it's ' which is causing the problems.

16bit characters uploaded to an 8bit system. It's a PH platform issue, AFAIK.

Hilariously, the error I was getting is being shown fine in the forum. Let me take some screenshots so the drastic nature of the problem is visible.

Edit: Disregard that, apparently it's been spotted by Scrof and suchlike who're on its case!
