It used to look like that on my computer as well but some advice on PH led me to try Adblock Plus and it's brilliant. It's free to download.

It's a plug-in for your browser and it stops it from requesting adverts like that. It works on virtually all adverts and it makes your browsing loads quicker because you're only downloading the content that you actually want to see, and you can see it because it isn't blocked out like that.

It works on youtube as well, making it almost as good as it was before Google bought it

I have no objections to adverts on PH but if they were intrusive then I'd end up blocking them. It's therefore in PH's interest to make sure the adverts are acceptable.
