Using the mobile site on my phone, I get this every time I try to post something.

It used to happen a lot but it seemed you fixed something but after the recent updates and downtime, the problem is back.

It's worse when you quote because it happens on the longer posts. They dont seems that bothered about fixing it, as it's not the first thread about it and it's been a problem for some time.

Tried that mobile skin and frankly that is worse than the subject of this thread. Sorry but say it how I see it.

What device are you using? I'm running it full time across desktops/iPhone/iPad without issue.

It was quite a while ago, I'll have another look. Had to set the skin on the laptop and there was something there I didn't like. Can't remember what the issue was. But remembered I went back to Classic.

Mobile beta is supposed to replicate Big Blue, so possibly why you didn't like it?

Personally I like BB on the iPad & mobile Beta on iPhone (to me the font doesn't look quite right on the pad, though I'm sure I'd get used to it if I tried)

Top of screen, click "my preferences" from there you will see "skin" click & from the drop down menu select mobile beta, save & that's it.

Having changed the skin in your preferences, go to the full site on your iphone and it'll auto-detect the screen size.

It switches layouts between portrait and landscape too, although there are some known bugs in that part at the mo.

Sorry idiot question. Can you have different skins on different devices? eg whatever on laptop and mobile on phone?

Safari here - switching between Mac and iPhone.

I also think it's pretty awful. (Compared to Blue)

Afraid not, but the Beta template will sense which device you're using and react accordingly.

Ok here is the first thing.

Changed to mobile skin. Went to phone

Clicked ph favourite.

Clicked my stuff. Empty list.

Clicked on Gassing Station. Empty list.

?

That's why I kicked it into touch.

Not very clear to read on full screen, unpleasant on the eye.

On mobile, too fiddly to pull down the pages tab, takes longer to go where you want to go - BB is easier to navigate and read - can easily pinch and switch to landscape on an iPhone plus a retina screen makes the BB just as easy as anything else to read.

Mobile doesn't add to making the experience easier, in fact because it has a different look, feel and behaviour to the full screen it means you have to sort-of-re-learn when switching back and forth.

That's my opinion - OMMV
