Firefox V1.0 preview release
Discussion
MEMSDesign said:Firefox is a browser only, that is based on the Mozilla (Netscape Communicator), but has been completly rewritten. The Composer and the E-Mail suite are not part of the Firefox. The aim is to create a light and fast webbrowser that can be customised with extensions.
I'm using Mozilla 1.6. Is firefox any different? I've never been able to work out which is better - is there any point in switching.
Incidentally, the posting area is now grey instead of white. Changed since I lost used it (which was earlier today)
At a later point, the Mozilla Suite will be replaced by a combination of the Firefox browser and the Thunderbird emailer.
If you don't use the Email and Composer parts of Mozilla, then there should be nothing that stops you from using Firefox
Ted, changes show in ye olde Firebird too
