Unable to send emails via Pistonheads

Hoping someone might be able to help, I am unable to send emails to other members when I click on the email me in their profile. Is this a setting thing or is there a problem. All help greatfully received by a technological neaderthal.

You do have the rights, what's the error you get?

Can you send a pm to anyone? I know that some people block them.
If you want to try sending me one, I'll let you know if I get it.
If that doesn't work then that's the end of my knowledge & you'll need someone cleverer than what I am

Sorry for slow reply been in a meeting all afternoon.

I don't get an error message it says the email has gone and that it will send me a copy as usual but it doesn't send one to the recipient.

Noticed it a while back when contacting people on the classifieds and just assumed they didnt want to respond.

Have since noticed that it isn't sending me a copy when I try to send an email.

Paul thanks for your offer, I have just sent you a trial email which I assume isn't working as I haven't had the copy sent to me.

Interestingly enough it seems that the copy function is out of action currently where as the outgoing mail works ok as far as I am aware.

Interestingly yes, took 5 minutes but it has come through. Will try sending to another member on here and see what happens.

Seems that some go and some don't bit of a pain but I have a way round it so thanks for looking into it and the replies received.
