How are words within replies being turned into annoying advert hot links to win IPads and other rubbish?

I would imagine some sort of malware on your computer. It's not intentional from our end.

Some add on toolbars do it.

Annoying.

On another note, how come some links automatically format so they can be clicked, bit others do not? The ones that are not seem to fix themselves when they are quoted.
