Is there a way of hiding your posting history?

Basically what the title says. I've made lots of stupid comments in the past and I'm quite ashamed of it. I was just wondering if there's any way of hiding it?

I'd rather not start a new username. The only reason I want to hide it is because I need to grow up and stop getting involved in silly arguments

I forever carry this burden. Also my old username was practically my real name, which was a bit daft.

When looking at old threads I often come across idiotic comments and think "What an utter prat" then scroll to the left (IPhone) and see it's my post.

He could easily change the password on his account to something he doesn't know using cut-n-paste, log out, then start a new one.

Of course, if he hasn't learned yet it is only a matter of time before he does it again.
