Hello chaps,

I have tried in vain to create a classfied ad to sell my car - but the damned system keeps telling me my username and password is invalid. Which, as you can see from my ability to post this, is not.

I tried to create another account using my existing login - and of course, it just says this name is already in use.

Gaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Help!

Thanks biggrin

Sorry about that. smile

There are different accounts for forum / classifieds. We also don't allow classifieds users to register with the same name as a forum user. I swear we put some code around this to make it so you could register your own username providing you supplied the same e-mail address, but it seems to have gone walkabout.

Anyway, to sort your issue try registering again but don't tick the "Check this box if you'd like to choose another username" box. Register with your e-mail address as your login name and then I'll go in and change your login to match your forum username.

Sound good?

Done all that, managed to get registered.

Uploaded the entire advert - now it wants me to pay, which I don't as I'm a long-standing member.

What now?

It's ready to go, just needs sending live.

Cheers biggrin

You've got free ads from here on.

Also I've set your ad live.

Also I miss my S2000.

Also do you want me to change your username as well or are you fine with it as your e-mail address?

Lovely, thanks for doing all that.

Leave it as it is, I'm happy with the logins and that.
