Email notifications to posts

Apologies if I am being a bit dim here, but is there not a way for the forum to send an email to alert you when a new reply has been posted. It seems to request this option when you create a new topic but not when replying to an existing thread. Like I said, sorry if I am being a bit slow but any advice appreciated on a postcard...

No - hadn't seen that but it still only takes you to the latest thread post and not to where you last posted so you can read forward. Not gteat - both of my other Forums have this feature which seems pretty common and basic...

My stuff has the ability to take you to the first unread post, it's the arrow & page icon at the end of the pages list.

How big are your "other forums" do they have the equivalent member/post count of PistonHeads? Just imagine the amount of mail traffic that this site would generate if immediate notification of posts was available to all users.

Ah...I see. Very covert ;-) Thanks for that. The other Forums are pretty big but maybe not in PH volume league, can see the logistics aspect
