Quote Buttons

Where are they?

When I view threads there are 'buttons' on the RH side at the top for "news" and "report" but no "Quote" or "Quote All" Buttons can I find anywhere.

I've looked through 'My Preference' but found nothing there to indicate that there's some setting or other that I've got wrong

Advice, help please.

Mobile or full site and which skin are you using?

OK, now I know where the buttons should be, but they're absent.

Full site on home PC and Big Blue skin.

Try clearing browser cache and Ctrl+R, maybe clear cookies too?
NB Clearing cookies usually means you'll have to log in again to here and other sites.

Johnnytheboy, I'm sure if you ask your Doctor you can be directed to suitable help.

Cookies deleted, cache cleared and still no buttons. This is on Firefox.

Tried PH forums on IE7 (or maybe it's IE8) and Lo, there shall be buttons!

Likely an add-on I'd've thought.
Try restarting with add-ons disabled.

Using an ad-blocker with it? That could be blocking the buttons, depending which filters you've set up...

Thanks for the help both.

Re-starting with Add-ons disabled worked when I put FF in safe mode; the buttons appeared. However re-starting normally with Plug-ins disabled did not allow the buttons to show.

The ad-blocker turned out to be the key: it's listed as an extension under add-ons and disabling that allowed the buttons to show.

Now I just have to workout what setting I've got wrong . . . .

That turned out to be remarkably easy - just one box to untick in the adblocker filters.
