Hello,

I posted a Scotland Tour I am organising and the thread was deleted due to "No Advertising" rules.

The post was not in any way an advertisement as I am doing this personally by myself.

Just like any other meet or run out,, the only difference with this one is it's over a few days and of course there are Hotel Bookings to secure in advance so I had to mention the reservation fee's.

If this is/was still against the rules then ok, but I see so many other postings along the same lines that is confuses me greatly.

Any feedback on this would be great!! thanks.

I am in no way offering a product or service.. just a group of guys in cars, headed north!

I found these in the rules, #6 and #7,

6. Post links for the purposes of advertising or personal gain (including cars for sale) or cross-post across multiple forums. If you wish to advertise please use the classifieds or contact us directly. Please note that we do not allow members to advertise their own car, nor do we allow members to post asking for valuations on their current car (please use the classifieds as a guide).

7. Promote events without permission.

As stated, not advertising anything, not making any profit at all and it's not an event.

Still confused...
