Account Hacked ?

I got the

"We recently received a request to reset the PistonHeads user account associated with this email address. You can reset your password by following this link:"

email, but I hadn't requested a reset. I logged on to my account using my exsisting signon and it said I had last logged on yesterday at 10:46 which I hadn't.

I have emailed [e-mail] asking for advice but I doubt anybody will be there until Tuesday. Has anybody else had this happen to them?

Can't help but thats some top lurking.

Surely it's just alerting you to the fact someone put your email in the password reset box - unless they can access your email account, they won't get anything - ie PH processes working exactly as they should.

Given what is now a record of sorts, I'm curious to know when last it was you actually did log on.

I sort of doubt he is going to break the habit of the last decade and actually post to tell you

May as well ask in WF.

Or is this a sick joke from someone who has hacked the most inactive user in PH history, then posted about it from said account creating an unusual situation whereby he has queried his own hack to highlight the accounts inactivity?

I also had this email... now that I have logged on to my account I have found that the current advert I have for my car has been changed and the contact email has been changed too!

I would check this, if I were you, it says I cannot change it back either without permission!! I have emailed Pistonheads and will hopefully get a quicker response... just worrying what else they can access now!
