Some of the stuff you read is so stupid and often presented as fact. Real " A mate told me, somebody he knows said" stuff. Now, I'm all for banter and opinion when it's just that but some topics need to be treated more seriously without daft statements without foundation. It just feels like some on here are saying things without anybody challenging the validity and perhaps a timed multiple choice test could be introduced?

Do you think that would please the advertisers and the money men...
The Internet needs thick people to exist, as does this site, so that all the intelligent people like the OP can ridicule the minions.

My mate knows someone who says it a rule of thumb that
'Anyone who proposes an entry exam to something that doesn't currently have on would probably fail it'

Would I pass? Hmmmm. One thing is for sure, people who post daft thread comments and make out they are unequivocally correct are, in my opinion, detracting from the forums. I am all for a laugh, but time and place.

Excellent idea. How do we ensure individuals don't cheat and get their nerdy friend to do the test for them?

With this multiple-choice - probably one correct answer within 4, what sort of questions are likely to be asked here??

How about posting a few preliminary exam papers?

Over to you . . . . .

OP - which post made your blood boil?

There's a lot of dubious stuff on here and always has been, so something must have got you going enough to start a thread about it.

(c) because it's diesel and therefore (b).

Consequently, MX5.
