Parsing Error - What's all that about?

Hi guys.
Trying to reply to one particular PH thread (actually the Maria de Villota thread on General Motorsport) but every time I try to either preview or submit, I get a message saying "Parsing Error".
But when I try to respond to any other PH thread (well, any that I've tried so far today), there is no problem.
Exactly the same thing happens on both my PC and my laptop, both of which run off the same WiFi router.
This all started last night: I've never had this problem beore.
Any ideas, folks?

Parsing is the process of checking whether some input conforms to a particular set of rules. For example, if you were parsing a date, an input of 30th February would be invalid and get rejected.
So there's something in the text of your post that the forum's software parser doesn't like. Is there any unusual punctuation/smiley/URL or whatever that may be causing it to throw a wobbly? Does the preview give the same error?

Yep, the preview gives the same error, and it happens with whatever I type - including any random jumble of letters.
The strange thing is, it's only happening on that one thread - and it's a thread to which I'd already successfully contributed earlier in the day before the problem started occurring.
This probably wants posting in the Website Feedback forum

When you get the error, copy the URL at the top of your browser and put it in this thread.ETA: I'm embarrassed to admit that none of what it says when you click on that link means much to me!

Same thing for me on http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/post.asp?h=0&am... This is not a user content issue.
I had a couple of random XML errors this week when viewing articles, and had to refresh to view. If user entered content is being run past XML/XSD also then the issues are possibly linked.
