Why did my thread get locked?

First time I've had a thread locked, pretty sure you were meant to get some sort of email or something but nothing except a cocky remark from Kinky.

I've emailed him and had no reply, so anyone fancy shedding some light?

Anyway, fair play, but a little explanation would help next time. Don't like treading on toes but didn't know. Also curious as to how the photo location thread is still going? Is that not a chain thread?

I would imagine it is linking to copyrighted songs that have been uploaded to YouTube probably without the copyright holders' permission.
The picture thread should be using peoples own photos hence they own the copyright.

You could say the same about the YouTube thread in that respect, of which many are copyrighted clips from TV stations etc.

Besides, what would PH care? It's a link to a major website that can easily be searched.
