Seeing as there appears to be so much unrest across PH following the new format I thought it may be an idea to set up a Poll and a Petition to get the old format reinstated.
This isn't about reluctance to change it is more to do with the fact that the changes have not been thought through or implemented correctly. For example Ferrari and Lamborghini now have their own sections however all the historical posts for these marques now sit in the original place but titled Maserati, Pagani, Koenigsegg and Bugatti. This is not an isolated incident and none of the moderators seem to want to respond.
Hopefully the moderators will see this as constructive and we can hold a democratic vote to see what the majority think is best. Additionally if the vote is strong enough in favour of reverting back it would be good to have a petition that we could present to the mods, Haymarket and if necessary the sponsors because it will affect them too if people use PH in a less interactive manner.
So I ask the good people of PH to participate in this and spread the word so that we can get a true reflection of what the consensus is. As per usual lists on a forum use the voting buttons and submit a post stating in the first line Revert Back if you want the previous format and I will edit this first post to include it in the list so that we don't get a ridiculously long thread with quoted quotes etc. I have plenty of time on my hands :0)

What change?Ferrari has its own forum (which is ok but it too has too many sub forums).
Lamborgini has its own forum (see above).
There is very little traffic in the new forums and hunting around has sub divided what are all ready small communities.

Not like the section had sheds loads of post which meant this was needed.

That doesn't work. It only brings up topics since the new format. All the old topics sit under the other forum which now has absolutely no reference in the title to what the content actually is.problem solved.
The change won't affect a lot of users who only look in the same section ie BMW that hasn't changed at all.
Please merge again and name the forum:
Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani & other hypercars.
Now it has become very hard to follow, after split to 10 separate forums... And most people won't bother to browse through almost empty 10 separate forums...
Old FMLB forum was amazing. The most interesting section in entire PistonHeads.

Now it has become very hard to follow, after split to 10 separate forums... And most people won't bother to browse through almost empty 10 separate forums...

For what it's worth we'll be dispatching the mods once we've finished with the changes to move topics to their new homes.The change won't affect a lot of users who only look in the same section ie BMW that hasn't changed at all.
However in the mean time if you suggest (using the report link) that a topic should be moved a mod will probably oblige.
This would also help us greatly with the not being able to tell what the subject is from the topic.

+1Used to vicariously trawl it to see how the other half lived. It was obvious (as it should be to anyone) that the total number of supercar owners/customers on here is tiny relative to total members, and thus the total number of threads & post is smaller. It's the sort of market where several marques are potential candidates for purchasing. Splitting it up into several pointless subforums shows a staggering lack of understanding of this dynamic.
The changes are madness (IMO). The old forum wasn't exactly busy so all we've got now is a load of separate forums with hardly any threads in them. Do people think there'll be a sudden uptick in threads now there are distinct categories? At the very least the single marque forums should be combined - four categories each for Ferrari and Lamborghini is way too many given the activity (or lack of).
