When I try to post a reply to a thread I get the following:

An Error occurred. Please click a link in the navigation at the top of the page to continue.
There has been a problem with content delivery. 417 Expectation Failed

Been happening for a couple of weeks now, on Android/ chrome browser.

Don't seem to have an issue posting new threads though.

Same here, as mentioned above it only seems to effect the longer replies. This has been happening for a few months now on both my current iPhone5c and old iPhone4s.

Any ideas yet?

It's a problem with the mobile site that the techies are aware of, but because it's operated by an outside company, the techies can't fix the problem. There is a new mobile site that's currently in Beta http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/

Im getting it just posting from computer (using mobile skin in preferences).

its 50/50 as to whether I get an Oops something is wrong message, but now when I go back the whole message is lost and I need to type it in all again, before you could go back and retrieve the message and try again.

Very annoying.

using IE8

Same again yesterday, spent 20-minutes typing a reply only to get the standard whoops error. Why bother relying I thought...

Is this problem getting any traction team? It has been an issue for months now, maybe even 6-month... As you can imagine a forum that losses your posts is not good - I wonder if this one will even work...

If you're using the mobile site, then that's the problem. It's something the techies are aware of, but they can't fix it as it's run by a third party.

If you're not on the mobile site, then that's a problem I'd of thought the techies will probably put the problem on a to do list.

I had this on the mobile site the other night. Most frustrating after writing out a long reply.

Call me crazy but is it not something the third party can fix?

Makes contributing to the forum an absolute mare. Especially as when you browse to the site on a mobile device it automatically redirects.
