Problem with polls?

I have started polls in the past and was just trying to start a new one.
Set it up with all of the desired responses and an explanation, posted it onto the forum and it doesn't appear as a poll!
Tried it twice with the same result!

Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a bug?
Have I had my polling rights withdrawn?

I did exactly the same thing each time!
