I understand your concern, but do realize we serve parts of our Javascript code within tealium so if some parts of the site stop working for you make sure to try enabling it.
Also, for what it's worth IE seems to struggle loading scripts moreso than modern browsers like Chrome or Firefox.

With PH being a Haymarket company (like What HiFi) I guess you're planning on following the same path as What HiFi, and delivering content from llnwd.net as well.
Since blocking llnwd.net, I note that the What HiFi site no longer works properly for me, and further investigation reveals that they are delivering much of their content (CSS, images) from http://cdn.whathifi.com, which is aliased to haymarket.vo.llnwd.net and images.cdn.whathifi.com is an alias for haymarket.vo.llnwd.net
Well, (for me at least) that's one less site to visit now, as I abhor my www activity being tracked and traced in this manner.
I suspect I'm not the only one, and if PH goes this way, you'll be losing me too (for what that's worth, as you'll not be generating any ad revenue from me anyway..).

Our scripts are hosted in Amazon Web Serivces, but I can say if you block llnwd.net then a lot more than Haymarket brands are going to be inaccessible for you. You're going to struggle with BBC and Facebook, most likely.
Also just because something is coming from the limelight network, it doesn't necessarily mean it's tracking code. Plus it's not all sinister this tracking stuff. Ultimately all they're trying to do is see how people interact with their site so they can make improvements; that's why we use it. And if you don't think our competitors are doing the same then I've got a bridge to sell you.

Well, IMHO Facebook is an evil daemon anyway, and I closed my account a couple of years ago so no loss there.bbc.co.uk works absolutely fine for me (although I rarely use it). I'm not aware of using any other Haymarket brands...

I'm sure there are many other ways to see "how the site is being used" so improvements can be made - I think you have more than enough user feedback here on PH for that...

I'm only interested if it's an old rust free steel bridge And I'm under no illusions about what other sites do, and to date I am blocking 107 sites, which leaves me with a remarkably advert free / tracking free experience...
I also find that my "site experience" is frequently spoiled by sites trying to load content from CDNs that simply cannot deliver the content fast enough, or are down for other reasons such as routing or DNS issues.
So do you see the irony?
As a webmaster myself, I prefer to deliver everything from the domain / site itself - at least that way you're not dependant on someone else's infrastructure for a complete site experience.
