Just looked at the new WRX Impreza page and down the side is (was) some dodgy looking "Ladies online now" images, not what my wife expects to see when she looks over my shoulder while I am on my "motoring" website - tacky to say the least !!
Bob
As per, the ad's are targeted to what you've looked at before. Dirty boy.Bob
In that case you need to re-set the values used for targeting cos I have not viewed anything of the like - and I do not like the insinuation in that response either ! conclusions and jump to come to mind !!
And I was viewing on my wife's Pc and I can be certain that she has certainly NOT viewed anything untoward either.

I'm not a mod, or associated with the site in anyway. I was merely trying to assist by informing you of how the adverts are displayed.
Next time I wont bother
I'd have stopped trying to helpful after the first response from the OP that marked him out as a grade A knobber. Next time I wont bother

OP, don't come it with us lot. You've been looking at porn and now realised it's triggering adverts that your missus may not like. However, coming on here with your faux upset bluff and bluster to leave this thread as 'evidence' of your innocence when the missus spots the dirty ads is a stroke of genius... if only it wasn't so obvious!

OP, I've seen similar but decided not to post about it as I reckoned a fairly safe bet it would attract pointless inane replies – as per offerings of illmonkey and Piersman2 above.
You'd have got the same reply and its how the ad work. Not sure how what Google say about their ad's is inane, but I suggest you DYOR first, alright petal.
Oh, the way to opt out, is to tell google, who set a cookie to enable it. Once cookies are cleared you're back in. I'd have imagined the OP would have know he'd done this, hence why I say he or his wife have possibly been looking at naughty naughty sites.
More likely is that the ad has been loaded onto the serving network with the wrong categories flagged, they probably think it's an advert for insurance.
Unless you can confirm exactly which ad it is there's not likely much that the mods here can do (PH just provide the screen space, they don't host the ads or vet them).
Perhaps as a test you should browse some porn sites and see if the ads change?
