I've been getting some random issues on PH tonight. I was trying to post on the 458 Nikki Lauda article and I got this:

I was eventually able to post it by going back, copying the text I had written, and closing and reopening the browser, going back to PH, and finally back to the article.

Then, when I got to the page where it says "Message posted. Thanks for your contribution" and clicked "go back to topic", I got this error message:

So, I go back to the PH homepage and click on the 458 article again to see my post. I noticed that the PH-meter was absent, though it had been there only minutes prior, so I refreshed the page. When I did, PH reverted to that weird mode where everything is in a vertical list to the left of the screen (sorry, I don't have a screen cap of that, but that's happened before so people must know what I'm talking about.)

I successfully made two more posts, but I kept getting the second error I mentioned (the "invalid address" one).

Is anybody else experiencing similar issues?

(BTW, I'm using Chrome as my browser on Windows XP (yeah, I know, I'm old school. wink This setup has worked for me for years and I have very reliable, fast internet, so I don't think the issues are stemming from anything on my end.)

Yeah, it seems it got better shorty after I posted this topic. Overall, PH has been pretty good over the years, with occasional technical niggles. Now, if we could just talk about those annoying ads at the bottom of the article that link to outside sites to tell you all about some secret investment advice. furiousrage PH was my last bastion of sites that didn't have those stupid ads; but I guess that's a subject for a different thread...
