Reporting abuse
Discussion
Surely, when removing a post for being abusive, where that post is a reply to another abusive post, both posts should be removed?
Once kicked out of a thread you can't report abuse within it, which could be improved.
It's not like someone can report all the posts or mods would just bin them?

From what I can see you've had three other posts edited today your 4th excursion onto a report was deemed enough to remove your posting rights.
It may not be what you said, but the way you said it, that wasn't deemed acceptable.
Really? Sorry, but I hadn't been aware of any editing right up until my final post was removed. It may not be what you said, but the way you said it, that wasn't deemed acceptable.
Having checked my mailbox, it would appear any editing was done after I got the wellie.
From the thread? Sure, already done.
I was suggesting an improvement (reporting abuse shouldn't be linked to ability to post) that while discovered due to that thread isn't actually related to it specifically.
Though, if you wouldn't mind, it may be beneficial to post that I got ejected, purely to stop people asking me questions to which I cannot reply

I mustn't be explaining myself well....
Ban from the thread? Fine, don't care. Probably shouldn't be the only one, but don't really care.
That thread aside, the point of this thread was to suggest 2 site / process improvements.
1) that being banned from a thread shouldn't prevent reporting abusive posts within it.
2) when ejecting someone from a thread, the mod doing so (or as a generic account) should post to say MrAsshat has been ejected. Not as a point of debate but as a courtesy to the remaining posters.
