Might I have seen a pop up advert at the bottom of the page this evening when viewing the lounge?

I've not had a drink.

Very odd.

ETA - I think it was for a Hobbit movie or the like.

Just had it.

I have no issue with discrete ads on websites but stuff that pops up or moves around the screen is a big no no.

Just had one for a Jeep at the bottom. Nasty. (and the Jeep)

Well that's annoying. I'll pass it on to our ad team who should be able to do something about it next week.

This is from a couple of minutes ago ...

I'm wondering if it is actually originating from PH so apologies if I've started anyone on a wild goose chase.

I've had that the last 2 days on the main page of the forum (including today) when I've logged on here. In every instance I've closed it & it's not come back, so it only seems to appear the first time you visit the forum, but doesn't reoccur when opening other forum pages.

Just seen it myself. Hit the close button and it went away.

Will be looking into this now too...

If it's any reassurance, if you click close that will get rid of it for 24 hours. Should be gone soon, like PG said.

I hate these new pop-up Ads at the bottom. They are really intrusive and irritating.

Please get rid of them!

I know you have to make money but there's enough Flashing at me already without that blocking out another part of my window. I sure won't be buying anything from Vodaphone in a hurry!

If you had read all of the thread, you'll realise that there aren't supposed to be any pop up ads at the bottom, and that it will be going shortly.

Not sure how PH defines 'soon' but they're still appearing.
