Is this something i've installed myself somehow or is it a PH thing?

It suggests content when i visit a webpage - but only seems to happen on PH????

I'm seeing it pop up occasionally as well and was having the same thoughts as you. Bloody horrible thing IMO

You have malware.
Download "malwarerebytes".

It's a free malware clearing tool.

As for how you got the malware;
Next time a video asks if you want to install a new codec, say no.
It's probably a fake video, and it'll just install rubbish on your machine.

I jumped to the wrong conclusion there.

I assumed you were talking about a popup box rather than the advert at the bottom.
I never scroll that far down.
