There was an advert for a Red Honda S2000, Year 2006 with only 23,000 on the clock and the seller wanted only £4,000 for a car that could easily sell for £10,000. After e-mailing about this, I was directed to a company website, to be told to e-mail the Sales department, no number, no one to speak to in "sales" and they wanted a direct bank to bank transfer and then free delivery of the said vehicle. As the saying goes "If something is too good to be true then it normally is"......

I am putting this on here as a warning, I do not know if this is a scam or not but my heart tells me it is. I mean, would you part with money for a car without ever seeing it first or being able to speak to anyone about it and then expecting the person, who now has your money but you don't know who they are, to actually deliver something. Maybe they will send you a key ring.

There are loads of these adverts on autotrader for various cars. Usually there's a picture with the email address plastered across it. Stinks if scam, can't believe people even follow it up!

why is this moved to website feedback rather than general consumption in gassing?

Yep, and always a <girl's name><number> email address...

It's like they can't even be bothered to try that hard.
