Every time I try to read a classified ad after 5seconds the screen is covered by an ad for a disgusting Japanese pile of doggy do. I wouldn't be seen dead in a Nissan Squashedfly and I object to being forced to watch a video of one.

Not very well put OP, and a clearer thread title would help.

For the record this is a genuine issue right now in the classifieds, the Nissan Qashqai adverts are filling the screen within a few seconds every time they are present on the page. This happens without going near the advert and without clicking on it. Happening on Chrome via Android tablet here.

Well I thought it was pretty accurate. It is extremely annoying and has killed my bedtime classifieds browsing! I just can't find a way to get the ad to go away.

I get an annoying full screen Sky advert for no reason when using the classifieds.

Stop it!

(Am using a Chromebook)

I have given up trying to look at PH ads on my tablet (android / chrome), so I can only assume they have moved on from Nissan Squashedfly to Sky.

If I were an advertiser, I would be pretty peed off with PH by now.

It would appear that PH don't care, however.

Why would you be peed off with PH? It's the advert supplier who's screwing up, sending adverts to the PH feed which don't meet the agreed restrictions.

Because people who use Adnroid / Chrome combo can't see my advert, so they aren't going to buy my car.

As PH/haymarket seems disinclined to help, you may find Adblock plus for android helpful, click.

Some of us don't have the option of using anything but IE at work.

Thanks. Will give it a try, but not sure if the restrictions on work laptop will allow it to be installed.

Just got a full screen ad for Kia on the PH homepage. Using PC and rather an old version of IE as at work.
