Over in Biker Banter it seems to be used quite a bit to describe someone who does not agree with them.

No, but the average Mumsnet reader doesn't have a corporate filter to content with.

As an 'average PH user' I don't see the benefit from being able to use the "C-WORD" - I don't need it.

What's the benefit from having the "C-WORD" available to members as compared to the increased incidence of PH being banned on corporate networks?

My self test is that I wouldn't post anything that I wouldn't be prepared to say out loud not knowing who might hear me.

Even if the "c-word" regularly featured in my vocabulary, I'm pretty sure I'd never use it audibly in a public place.

I work for a firm that has a 60/40 split of men to women. I happen to have the sys ads and network guys report to me.

Number of users who read PH forums - 12
Number of users who read Mumsnet - 0

Maybe career women don't "do" Mumsnet?

I work for a global organization of over 15000 people.
Just logged on via our corporate firewall and I can browse mumsnet.
I can even read and send emails with rude words in.

Oddly enough, it does sometimes block PH.
