Classified ad hasn't appeared .........
Discussion
I placed an advert last Thursday (or thought I had as I had a confirmation email saying the ad was now live)
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/parts-and-p...
Despite looking in all the relevant sections, Porsche, wheels 18". I can't find the ad.
I sent an email on Thursday night asking if there was an issue. No response.
I sent a further email on Friday late afternoon. No response to date (bar an automated one)
As it happens the wheels have sold as a result of adverts placed on 911uk.com and Ebay.
Loading ads on to PH used to be really easy and a pleasure as a result.
Now there seem to be more pages to have to plough through to place an ad, which is fine if the end result actually appears (and if someone responds to queries about ads not appearing)
Epic fail PH.
Deeply unimpressed.

I'm glad your wheels have sold, but I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to do so with PistonHeads. We are having issues of late with keeping our databases in sync. The database that loads the ad page is different from the search results so one will think it's live and the other thinks it's not been submitted yet. For some reason this only seems to happen on free ads.
We've been looking into it for a few days now and are coming up with a solution.
For anyone else with a similar issue, withdrawing the ad and then sending to live will usually trigger it into the search database.
Apologies for the issues!
