Freezup problems

Does PH suffer conflict problems with internet explorer?. Recently my pc has been freezing while trying to surf the forum pages. I can shut PH down and surf other web site forums no trouble at all. Strangely though, Firefox has just started to do the same, only on the PH forums.
With Firefox I have to 'end task' in the task manager but then I can't open up again with the desk icon, I have to restart pc.

Maybe it is my PC problem but strange it is only with PH
