Tags - How do I stop them?

I am completely sick of tracking things on PH - the latest is tags.tiqcdn.com which makes pages take up to a minute and a half to load.

How can I switch of these tracking 'things'?

Look up "do not track" by a company called abine, it stops the trackers. It is usually a browser add-on/extension

Installed and has made a HUGE difference

Loads in milliseconds now, as opposed to minutes

From a quick look at ghostery (hadn't heard of it before) yeah its pretty similar. DNT has some extra options to obscure your email address when using it online too.

Its amazing the amount of st that these tools block.

I removed do not track and installed Ghostery, as we use them at work. Not fussed about email tracking,as I use various email addresses depending on it's used for.

IMHO fk it all off, at most let the widgets through but that will enable facebook (and everyone else) to track you across the web

Agreed - Haven't had such a clean and fast running laptop since it came out of the box. In the past i've re-loaded Windows, upgraded RAM, ran Malware etc. But this tops the lot.
